Duffy Theatre Recount

When Mr Tyrell came to get my class we were about to walk to the hall and see the Duffy Theatre. When we were walking down I was so excited because every single year we had Duffy theatre. When we watched the Duffy Theatre, a play is performed and it is different from the year before. 

Now we were in the hall. It was so fun and the play was about a Corgan.
A Corgan is a made up mythical creature. Corgan is one third chicken,
one third dog and one third cat.

When we were sitting down there was a man that was playing the guitar
and he was doing silly movements. All the little kids started to laugh heaps
when he did that.

Afterwards the play began. It first started as a little speech. They were
saying to us “When we are doing the play, when I put my finger on my
mouth that means you are a bit too loud so you guys have to be a bit quiet”.



Then they started the play. It was so funny and so mythical. When I saw
I liked the singing and the story line. I hope we have another Duffy Theatre

them looking for the Corgan it was so funny because we got to tell them
where she was.The Corgan loved anything that was oatmeal for example,
oat bars and porridge.

I had a great time at the Duffy Theatre. I laughed so hard that my tummy
was sore. I thought the Corgan was a picky eater and a really big pooper.

Duality Map Thinglink

For the past two to three weeks me and some of my classmates have been working on creating a Thing link on our Duality Maps. When I was working on my Thing Link Duality Map I included Kiwi fruit, Pineapple Lumps, the Haka (which is the dance of New Zealand), Otai (Tongan drink) and Tongan dance Taulunga.

Prototec Maths results

Today me and my class tried the website Prototec Maths. When I was doing my answers I got four wrong they were 39 + __=100 , 6 + __=20 , 18 - __= 6 and 9 x 5 =__.Maybe next time I will work on those questions.

Room1's Birthdays

Me and my class Room 1 have been working on birthday graphs. 

May and July were celebrated by 4 students. These 2 months were the most popular.

January and August had three students celebrating their birthdays. During February, April, June and September there are two students celebrating their birthdays. The month that had one student celebrating their birthday was in March. No students celebrated their birthdays in October, November and December.
